Obituary

Dollie Embrey, 82, of Crooksville, passed away Monday April 9, 2018 at Riverside Landing and Rehab in McConnelsville. She was born April 6, 1936 in Perry County to the late William B. and Leura Stats Tolley. Dollie spent most of her life as a homemaker and loved taking care of her family and home. She is survived by sons, Kenneth (Judith) Embrey Jr. of Rose Farm and Steve (Burma) Embrey of Crooksville; daughters, Leura (Carol) Hale of McConnelsville and April (Randy) Riley of Malta; grandchildren, Chad (Jamie) Embrey, Angela (Matt) Thatcher, Erin (Casey) Coffey, Sara Lundell, Misty (Darrin) Carpenter, Matthew (Jessica) Riley, Marcus (Courtney) Riley, Marianna Riley and Daniel Rhinehart, Christopher Head and Darren (Betty) Whitehouse; great grandchildren, Bryce, Blake, McKenzie, Kobe, Brynn, Bauer, Ada, Wyatt, Jett, Essie, Aubree, Hadley, Bayne, Tyler, Taylor, Chazmin, McShayne, Chrystah Belle, Jada, Blake and Gracie; sisters, Joyce (Terry) Odonnell of Hopewell and Rowena (Tom) Cosgrave of Zanesville; and brother, Jennings "Duke" Tolley of Zanesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Embrey Sr; daughter, Marla Bradley; grandchild, Leura Mae Hale; sisters, Ruth Boner and Dorothy Pletcher; brothers, Ray and Cyrus Tolley and sister-in-law, Loraine Tolley. Family and friends may call Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will be held Thursday April 12, 2018 at 1pm with Pastor Rick Bourne officiating. She will be laid to rest in Iliff Cemetery next to her husband.
