David C. Driggs, 50, of Crooksville, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday June 12, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare Emergency Room. He was born on July 14, 1970 in Zanesville, the son of the late Charles F. and Roberta Dunn Driggs. Dave worked for the Crooksville Exempted School District in the janitorial department for the past 19 years. He was known for his kind words, goofy personality and warm smile among his colleagues. Dave was full of laughter and jokes, touching everyone that he met, whether you were having a good day or a bad day, he was always there to offer a hug, lend an ear or to simply tease you to lift your spirits. His entire life were his 2 daughters, Mylin and Addison. All that were part of Dave's life, knew just that. Dave was a member of the Doric Lodge #172 of the Free and Accepted Masons, Deavertown, Shriners and Deavertown United Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and was his daughter's biggest softball fan and endlessly supported the teams they played on. He is survived by his wife and mother of his children, Darla Olney Driggs of Crooksville; daughters, Mylin and Addison Driggs; sister, Vicki Driggs of Roseville; father-in-law, Dee Olney of Crooksville; several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Welcoming him to Heaven were his parents; brother, Rick Baker; sister, Valerie Baker; and mother-in-law, Ernestine "Ocey" Olney. Calling hours will be held Friday June 18, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where Masonic services will be held at 6:30pm and funeral services will begin at 7pm with Rev.
