Daniel A. Coffey, 38, of Crooksville, passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born on July 19, 1983 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Mary Brown Coffey Tedrow and the late Roger Coffey. Danny was a man of faith, enjoyed studying and learning about the ancient times in the bible and was a member of the Anchor Church in Crooksville. He was a 2002 graduate of Crooksville High School and was formerly employed with Asplundh. Danny loved tree trimming and horticulture and excelled at growing flowers having quite the green thumb. He loved his friends and supporting their will of sobriety. Most of all, he adored his daughter Kali and binge watching the show Ancient Alien when they were together. Left to mourn his passing are his daughter, Kali Coffey of Crooksville; mother, Mary Tedrow of Crooksville; brothers, Travis Coffey of Chillicothe, James Coffey of Roseville; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Coffey. Calling hours will be held Friday August 20, 2021 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burly Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will be held beginning at 2:00 pm with Pastor Anthony Richard officiating.
