Obituary

Chris J. "Cowboy" Piccone, 35, of Deavertown went on to be a warrior with the Lord at 2:10 p.m. at The Ohio State University Hospital, Wednesday October 26, 2016. He was born in Zanesville on July 12, 1981 to Lori Gibbs Swackhammer and Joel Riffle.  Chris was a collector with Bermex and enjoyed turning off people's natural gas.   He was a member of Villans, MC and Deavertown United Methodist Church, a former member of Crooksville Fire and EMS and Dispatcher for the Perry County Sheriff's Office. Chris enjoyed bull riding, was an avid outdoorsman, and held an immense passion for riding his motorcycle and time spent with his biker family and ultimately loved spending time with his daughter, Colleen. Surviving is his mother Lori (Terry) Swackhammer of Deavertown; his significant other that never left his side, Cori Dupler; daughter, Colleen Piccone of Chandersville; son, Ethan Piccone of Crooksville; sisters,  Megan Moyer of Zanesville and Ashley Johnson of Cambridge; grandparents Harry ( Betty) Gibbs of Deavertown, Galen (Ramona) Johnston of New Lexington; faithful fur companions, Bosco, Hulk, and Titan.  He is preceded in death by his step-father, Bruce Mitchell.   Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2pm to 8pm  at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will be held  Monday, October 31 at 1pm, where friends and brothers may call from 11am until time of service  with Pastor John Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Deavertown United Methodist Cemetery.
