Obituary

Cathy B. Miller, 67, of Roseville, formerly of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, surrounded by the love and care of her family. Born on January 15, 1958, in San Bernardino, California, Cathy's life was one of devotion to her family, friends, and the many lives she touched through work. Cathy's early years in California were filled with the bustling energy of a large family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Jessie (Maze) Walker and grew up alongside her brothers Jim and Carsen Walker, sisters, Sue Rupe and Patty Ball and the late Larry, Mike, Lester, and Danny Walker. The love of Cathy's life, Russ Miller, shared with her a beautiful marriage until his passing on October 21, 2016. Together, they created a legacy of love and family, with their children Rusty (Valerie Dusenberry) Miller, Julie (Clyde) Rowan, Halie (Danny) McPeek, and David (Kimberly) Miller. Cathy's role as a mother and grandmother was her greatest joy, and she embraced every moment with her family, supporting them in all their endeavors. Cathy's professional journey included her role as Night Manager at South Zanesville Kmart, where she was known for her unwavering work ethic and the genuine care she showed for her colleagues and customers. The matriarch of her family, Cathy's love story continued with the arrival of her grandchildren Logan, Landon, Lindsey – who was Mamaw's baby girl, and Giddeon "Giddy." Her love extended to her faithful fur companion, Bubba, who was a constant source of joy and comfort and the several adored nieces and nephews who she left behind to carry on her memory.
