Carol L. Ashford, 83, of Roseville, passed away on September 22, 2026, at her residence with her daughter Lori, by her side. She was born on June 10, 1943, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late William and Cletta (Shepard) Fitzpatrick. Carol lived a life marked by quiet strength, devotion to her family, and a warm spirit that touched those around her. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Fowlkes; her grandchildren, Megan Moore, Rachel Fowlkes, Sarah Fowlkes, and Skylar Fowlkes; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her with love and gratitude. Carol found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life, especially those spent with the people she loved most. Carol worked as a reader at TRW, where she was known for her reliability and dedication. Throughout her working years, she approached her responsibilities with diligence and pride until she was injured and unable to work any longer. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Ashford, as well as her son, James Fowlkes. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Cletta (Shepard) Fitzpatrick, and her sisters, Sharman Hicks and Mindy Roll. Her family was the center of her life, and she treasured the many memories they created together over the years.
