Berniece I. Lewis-Swaro, 93, of Crooksville, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Genesis Care & Rehab of New Lexington. Born August 14, 1924 in Crooksville, she was the daughter of the late William G. Weller and Doris Bateson Weller. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and worked as a paint designer for Watt Pottery. Berniece is a member of the Maple Avenue Christian Church. She is survived by grandchildren, Robert (Rikki) Lewis Jr, Sherrie Norris, Corey (Tina Sowers) Lewis, Heidi (Joseph) Jenkins and TJ (Raven) Lewis; great grandchildren, Drew & Libby Jenkins, Brylee Lewis, Erica Williams, Josh, Justin, Jordan & Jaden Lewis, Kayla Lewis, Sophia Norris, Maddison and Maggie Lewis; 5 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Terrie Lewis and Elaine Lewis. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Tommy Lewis; sons, Randy Lewis and Robert Lewis Sr; and second husband, Donald Swaro. Calling hours will be held Monday April 23, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday April 24, 2018 with Pastor Conard Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery.
