Barbara Jean Snyder French, 73, of Crooksville, passed away peacefully, at 4:32 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born April 6, 1943 in Rose Farm to the late Walter and Florice Pritchard Braglin. Barb was a member of the Faith Center Church and Roseville American Legion Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed gambling, especially playing slots and bingo and was a lover of fried chicken. She is survived by her loving children, Debbie Snyder of Crooksville, Randy (Beth) Snyder of Philo and Brian (Dee) Snyder of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her significant other, Howard French. Barb was preceded in death by brothers, Walter "Snake" Braglin Jr., Virgil "Pete" Braglin, Vernon "Hugg" Braglin and Emmett "Whimp" Braglin; sisters, Lillian Hammer, Linda Fisher, LaRita Jerles, Lorene McDonald, Gladys Rose Ross, Donna Faye Watts and Irene Braglin. Friends may call from 4 to 8pm, Friday, May 13, 2016 at ROSS-FRASH FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where services will be held Saturday, May 14 at 11 am with Pastor Peggy Watts and Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in St.Paul's Cemetery in Sonora, Ohio east of Zanesville.
