William L. “Bill” Berger, on the morning of June 27, 2018, passed away in his home, comforted by his wife after a battle with cancer. He was 59 years old. He was born October 22, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, the first of five children. Bill enjoyed watching Ohio State sports, camping, and sitting by a fire and mostly, spending time with family. Bill retired from PCC Airfoils in Crooksville where he worked as a quality control operator. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Berger; mother, Bea Berger; fathers, Jay Berger, Rick Johnson; siblings, Sherrie Adams, Aaron Berger, Myron Berger, Jeff Berger and Angie Schmitt; He leaves behind children, Nick, Alex, Amelia and Maggie with their mother, Lorey Berger; grandson, Miles; stepchildren, Chris Irvin, Nikki Irvin and Marie Bowen; and sister-in-law, Patty Crooks. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Berger. In lieu of funeral services a celebration of life for Bill was held with family and friends surrounding him. Per his request, no additional services will be observed.
