Ralph Wycinski Obituary

Ralph J. Wycinski, 86, of Roseville, passed away at 2:40 AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Willow Haven Care Center, Zanesville. He was born July 16, 1931 in Corning to the late Tony and Nellie (West) Wycinski. Ralph served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a proud member of the Corning Eagles and the American Legion Post 71 in Roseville, where he served as a Past Commander. He was employed as maintenance superintendent for the SE Ohio Correctional Institute where he retired January 30, 1993. Ralph loved hunting and reading. You could find him on most days hanging out with his comrades at the Roseville American Legion where just this year he received his 50 year award from the Post for 50 consecutive years as a Legionnaire. He is survived by sons, Dennis B. (Gina) Wycinski and Jeffrey L. (Joni) Wycinski both of Michigan; grandchildren, Brent, Chelsea, Jacob and Jolie; significant other, Barbara Clark of the home; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pearl Staley Loterbaugh; and sister, Vernie Irene Paxton. Family and friends may call Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville. The Roseville American Legion Post 71 will be conducting services beginning at 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to the Roseville American Legion Post 71, 74 S. Main Street, Roseville, Ohio 43777.
