To Rita and the remaining Lewis cousins, Gary was a darling. . . . . he will be remembered by many people. I loved him, his mom and his dad. . . . . I am sorry to hear of his passing away, but I am sure that he is happy where he is. You all have my prayers.

Gary was our patient and talented choreographer in many a Hermit Club show. He jumped in and saved our Chorus as accompanist after we lost B Neil Davis. I never , ever saw him lose his temper or his good nature. We are so shocked at his sudden passing, and send our prayers to Rita and his extended family.

I was a colleague of Gary's for over twenty-five years. He was the one of the friendliest and kindest individuals with whom I ever worked. He was always a ray of sunshine on even the cloudiest of days. Former Hawken School students and past and present teachers will miss him ever so much.

As a Hawken parent, I was witness to the huge and positive impact Gary had on the community. He used his God given gifts to make the world a better place. He was a gracious and gentle soul. He will be missed.
