Donna L. Miller, 78, of Crooksville, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born February 24, 1940 in Sayre, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Evelyn Plant Embrey. Donna was employed by the Crooksville Exempted School District as a bus driver for over 30 years before retiring and was a member of the Grace Community Church of the Nazarene in New Lexington. She enjoyed playing softball, hunting and playing cards. Donna had an immense love for sports. She enjoyed driving the bus for all the teams and being a spectator. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Miller; son, Joe (Candy) Miller of New Lexington; daughters, Rhonda (Kenny) Slaughter of Dresden and Jill (Chuck) Adams of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jed A. Miller, Mike (Jolene) Joseph, Machelle Fink, Corrie (Lance) Stephens, Tara (Zack) Hixon, Hillary (Cody) Stanley, Clay Adams, Shane Dunlap and Kate Ardetto; several great grandchildren; brother, Jesse (Sue) Embrey; sisters, Viola (Jim McQuad) Malcolm, Evelyn (Ken) Bates, Sue (Tom) Tokie and Rita Omen. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill Embrey and Kenny Embrey; and sister, Phyllis Erwin; and sister and brother-in-law, Goldie (Vance) Bolyard. Calling hours will be held Monday April 30, 2018 at Grace Community Church of the Nazarene, 7945 Tunnel Hill Road, New Lexington, from 4pm to 8pm and Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 11 am until time of service at 1pm with Pastor Matt Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Portersville
