Carol Lehman Ball, 82, of Crooksville went to be with the Lord and a host of others Friday December 21, 2018 at Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville after a sudden illness. She was born on February 5, 1936 in Roseville Ohio, the only child of the late Willard and Edyth Annon Buckley. Carol retired from Good Samaritan Hospital where she served as a Licensed Practical Nurse and volunteered for over 20 years. She loved her community and was active in many organizations including the Ohio Eastern Star Carnation Chapter 167 and Crooksville-Roseville VFW Post 9090. Carol was a member of the First Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville and loved to read and sew in her spare time. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Dixon of Roseville; stepchildren, Starla Stires, Curtis Ball of Crooksville and Gary Ball of Pickerington; adoring grandchildren, Staci (Jason) McKee, Amanda (Jeff) Evans and several step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Paige, Connor, Caleb, Raighan, Olivia, Abigail and step-great grandchildren; great- great grandchildren, Echo, Eli and Jameson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lenley Ball; son-in-law, Freddie Dixon. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 26, 2018 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville where funeral services will take place Thursday December 27, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gay Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery outside of Crooksville.
