Dorothy F Daniel

Dorothy F. Daniel, 76, of Roseville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 20, 2017 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born February 23, 1941 to the late William E. and Pearl Shipley Crabtree. Dorothy was employed by many local area companies including The Nelson McCoy Pottery, Custom Coil and TRW/PCC where she retired after 30 plus years of service. She loved to bake and cook, proudly displaying in her kitchen the Betty Crocker award she earned in high school. Dorothy was a former member of the Eastern Star and was a very active member of the Crooksville Free Methodist Church. She is survived by son, Edward Daniel of Roseville; daughter, Diana Daniel of the home; grandchildren, Morgan (Josh Robinson) Daniel of Roseville and Nick Daniel of Roseville; great grandchildren, Alaina and Gavin Daniel, and the newest addition to the family, whom she anticipated the arrival, Bryson L. Daniel; and sister-in-law, Rose Crabtree of Zanesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William M. Crabtree; and a near and dear special first cousin, Carol Sowers, who passed before her one week to the day. Regardless of the two of them both often being down from their own long battles with their illnesses, they continued to worry and care about each other. Friends and Family may call Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 24, 2017 with Pastor Debbie Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Roseville.
