Richard A. “Rick” Morgan, 74, of Roseville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Genesis Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born to the late Ethel Morgan on August 26, 1943 in Granville, Ohio. Rick was the Chaplain for the Sons of the Roseville American Legion Post 71, member of the Deavertown Masonic Lodge #172 and was a former employee of Owens Corning. He loved to fish with family and was an avid bingo player. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mona Morgan; sons, Michael Morgan of Florida, Gary (Stacy) Emory of Philo; daughters, Angie (Chad) Carrson of Granville, Trudy (James) Hendershot of Fultonham and Idella Emory of Zanesville; grandchildren, Cody, Justin and Nathan Carrson, Misty Paskell, Amber Emory, Tori Emory and Tim Savage; great grandchildren, Bailey Paskell, Reagan Nicole Tilton and Izaac Titlon. He was preceded in death by his step granddaughter, Hope Hendershot; step sons, Teddy Emory and Jerry Emory Jr; and a step daughter, Edith Marie Emory. Family and friends may call Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will be held at 11am Monday January 15, 2018 with Rev. Arthur Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
